Dress is in exceptional shape for its age! Construction and style places it right on the cusp of 1929 to 1930 and the visible creases along the skirt hem tell the story of changes in hem length as dictated by fashion over time. There is a small repair to what I assume was a hole on the bodice hidden behind the scarf. There are also visible stitch holes along the side seams (as pictured) where the skirt must have been taken in and then let back out. I have made the decision to leave these seams as found to not put further stress and the delicate fabric. Dress is wearable with care and presents beautifully!
